Immigration audits in Russia
The Russian immigration system has changed significantly over recent years.

However, the current situation concerning the immigration & employment of foreign nationals in Russia is still far from clear and needs the careful attention of companies seeking to employ foreign nationals. It is obvious that non-compliance with immigration regulations creates a significant risk for foreign nationals and their employers. The sanctions are serious, varying from fines up to 800 000 Rubles (approx. $28 000) for a violation, suspension of company operations for up to 90 days, and even imprisonment.
